I had thought that when my class presented their brochure and ad to
the client, that we would hold a festival of learning, and I would
school up a parent to accept our work on behalf of the client.
After working on presentation this weekend I will be changing all that on my plan.
For
our uni commission, we worked in groups to create a static image, then a
short drama to show the client what we had found out about MOTE. Once
we had it sorted, groups took turns at being the presenters or the
clients. The group that represented the client were allowed to question
the presenting group about what evidence did they have to support what
they'd said or portrayed.
I think this is a much more powerful
way to present and I will also have a festival of learning but without
the need to hand over our work.
Yay!! Thank you for posting this because this is another area that I needed more understanding in. I will be picking your brain!
