I set up for Hunter and Isabella to go in role as two old ladies who lived near our experiment site. These dears loved Periwinkle and their garden was absolutely smothered in Periwinkle, and it was causing problems with nearby properties. The scientists were told that these two elderly sisters were coming in for a visit, and they were briefed on the situation. They formed teams are worked on questions to ask these ladies, about why they were letting the Periwinkle run rampant in their garden.
Dorothy and Ronda (Isabella and Hunter) were superb in their roles. It turned out that they loved blue flowers, were unable to garden because they were too stiff, and found periwinkle easy to maintain (like do nothing!) After having afternoon tea with us, they left and we worked on solutions to their problem. In the end the company decided to create new garden plans, that still had part of the garden for Periwinkle and had to be low maintenance.
(We definitely all need to have a session on scale drawings!)
