Reflection

After we had "read " the comments we had "written" in the company yearbook, put our yearbooks into our bags, we stepped in to the circle and closed the company door for the final time then walked out of the circle, I got the children to quickly do the skits to show what would happen to them after the company closed. The skits weren't that great but conveyed the message of what they would now be doing or how they felt about the closure.
I then asked the children to get back into a large circle, with them facing outwards. I told them I was going to come around and tap them on the shoulder and they could say how they felt about using the Mantle of the Expert approach to learning. I should have recorded them on the ipad as they had some very good thoughts, which of course, I promptly forgot! LOL. I asked the children to then write down what they thought and what follows is some of their comments.
